Though I have not been terribly crafty since December, I have been fairly active with my camera... I have developed a bit of an obsession with my fisheye and animal noses…
I have also just been taking more photos overall. Except for this weekend, I had a garage sale with some friends. I managed to get rid of some stuff, but there is still a lot to get rid of. Anyone want to buy my stuff? No my fabric stash is not for sale.
My summer so far... there are worse things than unemployment...
Umlaut loves napkins, balls, toy, things that squeak and raw hide. Chavez on the other hand loves trading lunches, jumping, belly rubs and love buckets. It turns out that Chavez also likes raw hide and decided that he would help Umlaut destroy his piece. Umlaut is fine with it and finds something else to play with.
So earlier this morning they are both hanging out on the couch and all of the sudden Umlaut jumps off the couch and runs into the dining room and grabs the raw hide, he comes back in the living room drops the raw hide by Chavez and goes back to sit on the other side of the couch.
This weekend I am taking some portraits of a friend who I used to work with, his wife
was actually my first boss at the company that I work at now. He has since left
to work at a start-up, they recently launched tafiti which is a pretty slick UI for a search
engine.
I am also going to take some shots of my friend and her family since
it has been a while since I have done portraits.
But first, yesterday I
