I took the week off from work with the intent of sewing all week, of course after the new XBOX360 release with netflix, I got sucked into Jericho... second season was a major dissapointment, the fact that I watched both seasons in a room where my sewing machine was not very productive, but the mind escape was good.
Then I got to sewing. I finished binding (which I have yet to learn to love) made a few dish clothes... and loaded them (well the quilts and a few of the dish clothes) up on my etsy shop.
I am even offering free shipping on quilts for the holidays!!
While I am at it I decided to post a few more pictures from the trip down to P-town. TexasKillet and I went there as part of the March Craft Month Challenge so that we could check out the Crafty Wonderland.
While there we also heard about the Knittin' Kitten and were highly recommended to check it out. Sadly they were not open that particular Sunday, or any Sunday for that matter. Perhaps I will check it out next time I go there, in the meantime if you live in the area you should go, on recommendation of others.
We did make it to SCRAP which reminded me a bit of the Portland Resource Center in Portland, Maine.
Lark Press was really lovely.
Pix Patisserie had the most delicious foods.
