Litl' Lil
Over the last week or so, I have been pretty busy and have not had as much time to sew as I was the week before. I am working with the piles of triangles that I still have from the triangle quilt. It is a lot of sewing anf it never feels like anything gets done.
I also had a friend in town from LA and some other friends just moved up here from LA.
I did do a little fabric shopping. I also FINALLY bought some batting (28 Yards!!)
The other day I was at the pet store and I had a few bucks over on a store credit and figured I should just go through the sale rack and pick up a few toys for the dog shelter I volunteer at. I walked in there and there was this cranky little chinese crested mix. So I asked about her and they said she has some issues. I sent mail and stopped by there today and, well to get to the point, I took her home. Ever since Dozer got adopted to his forever home I have had it in the back of my mind that Umlaut still needs a buddy... so we are trying this one.

I've been using leftover heavy duty felt or unused blanket fleece yardage as a batting substitute in my shopping bags.
By the way, my lil sis hearts Chinese Cresteds... though her hubby won't give in to a dog just yet due to apartment living.
I look forward to reading more.
Yeah I have used fleece before but I didn't really have any for using, luckily I scored 28 yard + the 4 I got the other day I *should* be good at least for a little while.
I like Chinese Crested dogs when they aren't all bald!
